Still wondering what am I doing here on a Sunday, but it had became a regular habit of mine to spend at least a weekend or two in a month in the office. By strange chance, I manage to skip work yesterday. Knowing full well that my Sunday is screwed anyway, both of us lepak- deprived girls decided to go mad and go all out to Sungei Wang ( a spot that we adore for the funky and cheap stuff they have in abundance but sadly yours truly is too dumb to figure her way to drive there XD;;; ) And so, with the convenience of LRT and monorail, I'm so ditching my car at the nearest train station XD

Ahhhh Sungei Wang ! How I missed thee ~ I'd just realized yesterday my usual conception of the crowds that hang out at this particular mall had changed from the last time I actually managed to walk around on my own leisure to observe the shops and the people ( last I went was for a concert nearby last month and it was a hell of a rush the whole time ) Apart from the regular ah lian and ah beng-ness of many there, this place had became a haven for street fashion! I ended up observing and staring at random stranger with -fashionably cool- strange hairstyle and mish mash of clothes and fashion. It is really refreshing from the usual crowd that I see everywhere else ( THAT, or I'd just not been out in the public for very pathetically long time )

We discovered that the Malaysian MEGA SALES just started on the same day yesterday! Small wonder there's sales everywhere in every shop that we run into. Initially, I'm just looking for a bag where as The Onion wanted to shop for some clothes. Feeling comfortable that I have only one item in mind, I accompanied her to round up on every shops possible ( hey! we have all time in the world to kill yesterday =P ) One bag? No worries, I'm not gonna spend more than THAT!

WRONG!

I ended up getting everything else OTHER than a bag T____T and three times more than what I'd expected at the beginning of the day. Will power, PEH ! T___T

But oh well, it was a day of discovery as well as I discovered that she has a tendency to like hippies-fashion ( with retro color scheme ) and me, I was so damned suckered by laces, the only really girly thing that I think I'll ever make myself wear XD Though she did mentioned, black laces are not exactly girly to begin with *cough* Me, goth ? Naaawwww ...

But I'm actually out shopping for CLOTHES. Instead of books and CDs, my Mum will be so proud of me XD;;; ( and girly stuff as well, since I'd actually bought a short skirt, with kickass chunky belts, and black laces at the bottom! Er .. )

PS : I'm working temporarily on a 17in LCD monitor because the CRT in the office *DIED* !!! HUZZAH !!! Finally! Resolution higher than crappo 1024x768 !!
